IMPHAL, Aug 2: A combined team of 12 Bihar under the aegis of IGAR (South) and Bisnupur Commando apprehended a cadre belonging to UNLF from Kamong on August 1, sources said.
The arrested cadre has been identified as Thokchom Nimai Meitei, 40 son of Late Th Irabot Meitei of Nambol Kamong Meisham Leikai.
One country made 12 bore single barrel bolt action rifle along with three live rounds was recovered from his possession. The cadre has been handed over to Nambol Police Station, the sources stated.
