IMPHAL, Sept 4: A man was seriously injured this morning around 10:30, when his brother accidentally shot him during a hunting trip at Naga Hills neighbouring Lukhambi Part II of Tamenglong district.
The injured man has been identified as Namsinlung Kamei, 48, son of (L) Zeidikhon Kamei of Lukhambi Part II.
His brother identified as Jonathan Kamei, 38 accidentally shot him mistaking him to be an animal.
Namsinlung was hit by six bullets on his chest, stomach and hands and is said to be in a critical condition.
