KANGPOKPI, Sept 20: The JAC Sadar Hills proposed nine days stirs supposed to begin tomorrow has been delayed temporary till further announcement.
The resolutions of the JAC Sadar Hills second sitting on September 18 at Multi-Purpose Hall, SHADC Kangpokpi which included to stage nine days sit-in-protest against the passage of the alleged three ‘anti-tribal’ bills and withdrawal of the same at different locations within Sadar Hills beginning tomorrow at Saitu-Gamphajol and Sapormeina area.
The meeting also decided to launch another intense agitation if the bills are not withdrawn within the nine days sit-in-protest.
However, the JAC Sadar Hills temporary delayed its proposed stirs today in a meeting held at Hotel Imphal due to unavoidable circumstances.
