KANGPOKPI, Sept 5: In the second of day of the United Naga Council 48 hr bandh one vehicle has been burnt down along National Highway 37 in Imphal `“ Jiribam road this morning at around 10 am.
Source informed that bandh volunteers from both Kuki and Naga community in the area who enforced the UNC`™s 48 hr bandh stopped Xenon vehicle bearing Regd. No. AS01-GC-1700 near Konglong Namthanjang area and set ablaze.
The vehicle was an empty boiler carrier heading towards Imphal from Jiribam.
