IMPHAL, Oct 6: The Department of Information & Public Relation will be conducting a photography contest cum exhibition with from October 28 to 1 November on four themes related to visual journalism.
There will be 52 prizes for the contest including consolations. A photography workshop which will be attended by experts will also be held during the exhibition, said DIPR director Salam Somorjit today at the press club.
Stating that details can be availed from the office of the DIPR, he said the last date for entry of submission will be October 20.
The competition and the exhibition will promote photo journalists.
