IMPHAL, Oct 28: `Clean India and Develop India` campaign was formally launched by the sub-divisional officer of Tamei, Kachamthai Gangmei today at Tamah village which comes under Tamei sub-division of Tamenglong district. The campaign for maintenance of hygiene and a cleaner environment was initiated by social activist Wilubou Newmai inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi`™s Swatch Bharat Abhiyan.
Tamah village is being selected to be developed as a model village of Tamenglong district.
