According to a police source, the two were travelling on a Bajaj Pulsar bike bearing registration number AS 11E 8294 and hit a road side tree near the finishing point of municipal area, which is on the north of Jiribam-Tipaimuk road of Dibong, Ward no.10, Jiribam.
It said, the deceased persons have been identified as Ayekpam Tiken Singh, 23, son of A. Tolen Singh from Champanagar, Maning Leikai, Jribam and S. Iboyaima Singh, 40, son of S. Mangi Singh from Bishnupur, Ward no.11, and the death bodies will be handed over to their family tomorrow.
