IMPHAL, November 27: In line with the declaration of ‘International Day on Violence against Women” by UN in Jakarta, Indonesia on November 25, Yayasan Gender Harmony in partnership with the Women UN Reporting Network (WUNRN) observed My World My Harmony – a call for women worldwide to join hands against gender based violence.
Social activist from India, Urmila Chanam is a part of the hand – picked women who will be trained to serve as Facilitators on gender harmony and elimination of gender based violence. Women from USA, Italy, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Bangladesh are there to take these learnings into different aspects of work they are doing in their countries on gender.
