IMPHAL, Nov 6: The mortal remains of the two victims who were killed in an IED explosion triggered at the Yairipok residence of Parliamentary Secretary Keisham Meghachanda Singh, have been handed over to their families after having conducted post mortem examination at JNIMS yesterday.
The deceased have been identified as one Md Daulat, 30, son of Md Atao Rehman of Yairipok Tulihal Toupokpi at present staying at KR Lane Imphal, and Nameirakpam Boboi, 30, son of N Sarat Sinh of Yairipok Poirou Khongjil.
On the other hand, the Irilbung police deposited a body of a male from Irilbung Kalika Chingol yesterday and deposited at the JNIMS morgue.
Sources speculated that the victim might be one S Rajen of Irilbung Machahal who remained traceless since he left home on October 22.
While the cause death is yet to be ascertained, the concerned police station has registered a case.
