NEW DELHI, November 6: Every people or community in Manipur are fighting for their own benefit without even respecting and considering the needs for others, said a press release by Delhi Association of Manipur Muslim Students (DAMMS).

It said, the leaders of the state have failed to see the issue as if there is no law and order in the state, and many of the students do not get scholarships given by the Minorities and Other Backward Classes (MOBC) department.

Local papers have published about the scholarship money being taken by some persons illegally but no action has been taken up by the state government to investigate the matter, and it seems that the Chief Minister is neglecting the Muslim community of Manipur, stated DAMMS in the press release.

It said, DAMMS has appealed the concern authority to look into the matter seriously irrespective of any caste or community.
