JD (U) Manipur celebrates win in Bihar

IMPHAL, November 8: The Janata Dal (United) Manipur Unit also celebrated the Grand Alliance’s (Cong, JD (U), BJP) win in the Bihar election today.

Speaking to media persons at his office, JD (U) Manipur Unit president M Tombi said the BJP will find it hard to stand up again following the massive defeat.

The Modi wave that the BJP is so proud of is over, he continued.

The people are unwilling to vote for the BJP which is due to the government’s cutting off several schemes and flagship programmes of the previous governments which were really meant for the people, he said.

JD (U) Manipur secretary general Lein Gangte stated the Grand Alliance also extend to Manipur and it will support the Congress candidates in the November 21 bye election.

He continued that the BJP lead NDA government is a dictator. The people must not listen or follow them, he said.
