IMPHAL, December 1: Above 100 loaded oil tankers will be reaching the capital ahead of the indefinite economic blockade imposed by civil society organizations based in Sadar Hills with effect from December 2 midnight.

According to reports, the oil tankers loaded with kerosene, petrol and diesel have already headed for Dimapur with CRPF escort. The tankers will be reaching Imphal before 10 am of tomorrow.

On the other hand, around 70 empty oil tankers with CRPF escort have left the capital this evening around 4. The tankers will load fuel from different supply points in Assam, the reports said.
