IMPHAL Dec 18: As in other parts of the country, the Minorities Rights Day 2015 was observed by All Manipur Muslim Development Organisation (AMMDO) at Manipur Press Club here today.
President of AMMDO Dr Shahid Ahamad; president of Editors’ Guild A Mobi; advisor of AMUCO KT Rahaman; president of AMUCO Dr Y Mani Khuman and general secretary of Disabled Development Association Manipur (DDAM) Md Junus Khan graced the observance function as presidium members.
Several issues confronting the Minority communities in the State, including employment, misconceptions, discrimination etc were discussed during at the occasion.
