IMPHAL, Jan 7: Altogether four accused in the arrest case of RK Meghen alias Sanayaima, supremo of the outlawed United National Liberation Front (UNLF) and several other key leaders of the outfit, were examined in the Special Court of National Investigation Agency (NIA), Guwahati today.
RK Meghen and other leaders of the outfit are on trial in the court based on the charge sheets framed by NIA against them.
The four accused are identified as Herojit, Bembem Chanu, Maniton and N Bomy. Herojit and Maniton are under judicial custody while N Bomy in on bail on medical ground.
Examination of all the accused in the case, including those who are under judicial custody and on bail so far will be held in the NIA court one after another.
