IMPHAL, Jan 4: All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union (AMWJU) has deeply mourned the sad demise of chief editor of daily eveninger Paojel, Sanajaoba Sinam who breathed his last on January 1 due to a prolonged illness.
Standing Committee of AMWJU convened a meeting today to condole the demise of Sanajaoba Sinam who hailed from Achanbigei Makha Leikai, Heingang in Imphal East.
Along with observing a one minute silence as a mark of tribute to the departed soul, the union shared grief of the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
Sanajaoba Sinam served in the journalism profession for a long time. His demise is a big lost not only for the union but for the whole media fraternity in the State, AMWJU said.
