IMPHAL, Jan 7: The Anal Naga Tangpi (ANTA), Chandel has urged the concerned authority particularly Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) to select qualified local candidates in the appointment of Assistant Professors for which viva-voice will be held on January 11.
In a statement, the ANTA pointed out that non-local candidates were appointed in the appointment of teachers, lecturers and Assistant Professors in the hills but they took transfer in the valley after serving for two-three months.
This kind of ungrateful system has created a lot of problem in the hill regions, it lamented.
