IMPHAL, January 18: Dr Subharthi Ray, Associate Professor, University of KwaZulu-Natal, Westville Campus, Durban, South Africa delivered the Extention Lecture 2015-16 at Multipurpose Hall, Modern College, Imphal today.
Dr Subharthi Ray’s extension lecture as a part of the celebration for 100 years for general relativity was on the theme ‘Neutron Stars- The astrophysical laboratory for matter in extreme states’. He expressed his excitement to be in Manipur for the first time and the thrill of meeting the enthusiastic educationist in the state.
Dr K Biren Singh, Principal, Modern College and Th Nodiachand Singh, President, Modern College Teachers’ Association were the president and guest of honour respectively on the occasion.
