IMPHAL, Feb 2: Cyclist Gene Hashmi from Banglore, Karnataka reached Imphal and interacted with local media persons today at Manipur Press Club, Majorkhul.
Speaking to media persons, Gene said that he started his journey from Bangalore on January 17 last and reached Imphal on February 20 to witness various activities done by the common people for their livelihood and development projects being taken up by the government in the North Eastern State.
He said he has travelled to Assam, Nagaland and Manipur and will continue to travel the other remaining four North East States.
He will leave Imphal on February 23 along the Imphal-Tamenglong road.
