IMPHAL, February 26: The Manipur Legislative Assembly today passed a total of Rs 12,15,81,23,000 for seven departments on the sixth day sitting of the 13th session of the 10th Manipur Legislative Assembly following discussion and voting on demand for grant.
The seven departments for the demand for grant are Police department , for a sum of Rs 11,59,19,06,000, Vigilance for a demand sum of Rs 32,62,9000, Fire protection and control department for Rs 10,48,00,000, Home Guard department for sum of Rs 17,11,80,000, Jail Department for the sum of Rs 17,15,15,000, Rehabilitation department for Rs 25,64,7000 and State Academy of Training department for Rs 60,44,6000 which was introduced by the Chief Minister Okram Ibobi in-charge Finance in the House today.
After discussion and voting with raised cut motion from both members of Opposition and Ruling benches the total amount of Rs 12,15,18,23,000 has unanimously passed for the year 2016-17.
