IMPHAL, Feb 14: An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was reportedly recovered today along Imphal-Ukhrul road this afternoon under Litan Police Station in Ukhrul district.
Reports said that the IED was planted about 1km east from the Litan Police Station in the canal adjacent to the hill side of the road.
The presence of the IED was reportedly informed to the Litan Police by local.
The bomb was later dispose by a team of Manipur Police Bomb expert team and Litan Police.
