IMPHAL, Feb 8: An oath taking ceremony for Councillors who were elected from Kakching Municipal Council in the 5th Municipal and Nagar Panchayat election was held today at the conference hall of Kakching Municipal Council.
Vice-Chairperson and acting Chairperson of Kakching Municipal Council Y Nando and Returning Officer (RO) SDO Kakching Dr Th Charanjit graced the ceremony as chief guest and president respectively.
The oath taking of the newly elected Councillors was administered by Dr Charanjit.
The elected Councillors are Mayanglambam Memcha (INC) of Ward No 1; Mayanglambam Uma (INC) of Ward No 2; Ningthoujam Memmi (Independent) of Ward No 3; Pukhrambam Sanahanbi (INC) of Ward No Ward No 4; Thangjam ongbi Y Kananbala (INC) of Ward No 5; Nongmaithem Narajit (BJP) of Ward No 6; Sandam Premita of Ward No 7; Moirangthem Inakkhunbi (INC) of Ward No 8; Kshetrimayum Radhamani (INC) of Ward No 9; Kshetrimayum Anita (INC) of Ward No 10; Kshetrimayum Jhaljit (BJP) of Ward No 11 and Naorem Sanjitkumar (Independent) of Ward No 12.
