IMPHAL, Feb 24: The counsel of the respondent in the case against Moirang MLA Mairembam Prithiviraj Singh charging him of submitting a false education qualification in his election affidavit has placed his statements before a bench of Justice N Kotishwar in the High Court of Manipur today.
During the final proceeding of the case today, senior advocate V Giri counsel of respondent M Prithiviraj Singh placed his statements as part of the final argument.
It may be mentioned that senior advocate Naorem Kumarjit Singh counsel of petitioner had made his arguments on February 22 and 23 as part of the final argument.
It is also learnt that the High Court of Manipur will also passed its judgement of the case during this month.
