IMPHAL, Apr 19: A dead body of a man was come across this morning at Waikhong Uyung Khunou under Waikhong Police Station in Thoubal district.
Reports identified the deceased as Chirom Amuba alias Blackcat alias Ibohal Singh, 40 son of Ch Angangton of Waikhong Ningthoumanai Mamang Leikai.
There were injury marks on the dead body. It is believed the man could have been abandoned at the place after severely beating him up.
Police have registered a case in connection with the incident, the reports stated.
