He said that Government educational institutions are not sufficient to accommodate all students of Manipur, so the aided colleges or school or junior schools are taking vital role to bring our student to global standard.
We have a three-tier system of government in our country: Centre, State and local self government and if all the three work properly the people will not face any problems, he said.
However, there will be problem if they intervene into each other’s responsibilities, he said adding that if MLAs and minister intervened in the workings of the local self government, unfortunate incidents like the one witnessed yesterday in Moirang are bound to occur.
There will be no problems if the MLAs and the minister show some transparency in their workings, he added.
The same issue may occur in the Wangoi Assembly Constituency because the local MLA is interfering in the distribution of beneficiary cards for the Food Security Act, he claimed.
If MLAs want to distribute the beneficiary cards for the FSA, they should contest for the Council election instead of the Assembly election, he added.
