BISHNUPUR, Apr 21: A Special Gram Sabha meeting of Phubala Gram Panchayat was held today at the Sunisiphai Mini Ground.
The meeting was attended by Bishnupur BDO L Manikanta, Phubala GP pradhan M Ibomcha, Phubala GP up pradhan T Rajen Meitei as chief guest, president and guest of honour, respectively.
Experts spoke on the issues which need to be taken up for the development and welfare of the GP.
Later a tug-of-war of the womenfolk of the Wards was also held. Entertainment programmes like stick dance were also showcased during the day.
Prizes of the programmes conducted were also distributed.
Meanwhile, a gram uday se bharat abhiyan special gram sabha was organised by the Keinou gram panchayat at the keinou Thongkha Community Hall today.
