BISHNUPUR, April 26: Yumnam Tondonbi who received the first prize in the Lions International Peace Poster Contest 2015—16 on the theme “Share peace” was feted at her school Gandha Memorial English School Phubala.
She was sponsored by the Lions Club Ningthoukhong.
She had competed in the State level contest held on October 16, 2015 from where her poster was selected for the February 27 and 28 contest held at Tripura and then for the April 23 and 24 contest held at Durgapur West Bengal.
Her poster received the 1st Winner Multiple District and 23rd Merit Award Winner title.
She arrived at the Imphal Airport from Agartala this afternoon.
She received a prize money of around Rs 34,000 and a citation. She is a class VII student
