IMPHAL, April 14: In an unfortunate incident, two youths amongst three who were coming on a Honda Pleasure scooter met a self-caused road accident at Heingang Chingkhong under Heingang Police Station today around 2 pm.
One of the deceased is identified as Ngangom Mahesh, 15 son of Late Ng Nabachandra Singh of Khabam Makha Leikai. Identity of the other one could not be established.
The other occupant of the vehicle, who suffered critical injuries in the accident, is identified as Khomdram Lalheiba Meitei, 18 son of Kh Ipo of Nongada Awang Leikai.
He was rushed to JNIMS Hospital for treatment and later referred to Shija Hospital after his condition worsened.
The dead bodies have been deposited at JNIMS morgue for post mortem.
