IMPHAL, May 18: A book entitled ‘Chekkhairaba Jail Gi Chekpal’ written by Lairenlakpam Sarat was released today at Manipur Press Club in a simple function.
Speaking during the book releasing event, Lairenlakpam Sarat, said that the book is a reflection of his personal life experiences with regards to myriad issues and struggle of womenfolk in trying to survive in a society especially challenges after getting divorce or demise of her husband.
According to him writing book was never his personal choice but after witnessing and experiencing the untold hardship face by womenfolk, he deemed it necessary to unfold the struggle to the world.
