IMPHAL, May 10 : Seven candidates from the State have been so far confirmed to have cracked the UPSC Civil Service exam 2015, final result of which was declared today.
Khumanthem Diana Devi (24th), S Asker Ali (167th), Kritidas Thokchom (540th), Haridas Rajkumar (686th), Ruveda Salam (764th), Kshetrimayum Shivakanta Singh (752nd) and M Thangsuansang Zou (915th) from Manipur have made it to the merit list of 1078, according to results available on the UPSC website.
At the same time, Library and Information Centre, Kakching has congratulated Ksh Shivakanta Singh on cracking the UPSC exam.
The Muslim Council, Manipur has also congratulated S Askar Ali on cracking the Civil Service exam. Askar Ali is from Haoreibi Lilong Kanjongpur Mayai Leikai.
UPSC declared the final result of Civil Services Examination 2015 on Tuesday.
The first position was secured by Tina Dabi, followed by Aamir Ul Shari Khan Akthar and Jasmeet Singh Sandhu in second and third positions respectively.
The final merit list was prepared based on the results of the written examination held in December, 2015 and the interviews for Personality Test held in March-May, 2016.
A total of 1078 candidates have been recommended for appointment to Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.
