IMPHAL, May 13: Two committees of the state BJP constituted by new chief Ksh Bhabananda on May 12 with acquiescence from BJP Manipur-in-charge Prahlad Singh Patel was cancelled 24 hours later allegedly due to pressures from central part high command.
Bhabananda had formed the state BJP core committee and state election committee yesterday at the same time and conducted their first meetings today at party office in presence of Manipur-in-charge Prahlad Singh Patel.
The state core committee has six members which are Bhabanada Singh as Chairman, Th Chaoba Singh, Sh Shantikumar, Dr H Borbabu, Kh Joykisan Singh and S Premananda Sharma for the term of 2016-18.
Another committee of state election have 13 members under the chairmanship of K Bhabananda Singh as convener of the committee. The members are S Premananda Sharma, Th Chaoba Singh, Sh Shantikumar, Dr H Borbabu, M Bhorot, Kh Joykisan Singh, Th Bishwajit Singh, Danny Shaiza, S Tikendra Singh, O Joy while, M Asnikumar Singh and Y Joykumar were included as special invitees.
