NHIDCL now in charge of Imphal-Jiribam highway

IMPHAL, Feb 5: The Central Government has handed over the charge of constructing/maintaining Imphal-Jiribam road to National Highway Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) from BRO.

According to a source, the Ministry of Transport and Highways issued an official notice on December 23 last year detailing the transfer of charge to the corporation.

The corporation has already begun work on the road under Project Pushpak, it added.
