AE, SO suspended for negligence

Imphal, Apr 27 (DIPR): A day after the accident at the work site of the drainage and sewerage at Yaiskul Chingakham Leirak leading to grievous injury of a person, the N Biren Singh led Government today suspended two PHE officials for negligence and dereliction of duty.

n an order issued by Addl Chief Secretary (PHE) Shambhu Singh, Assistant Engineer Laishram Irish Singh and Section Officer Keisham Patel Singh have been suspended with immediate effect.

The order also mentioned that during the suspension period, they will be paid subsistence allowance and their headquarters will be Imphal.
