Speaking to media persons at Imphal Hotel today, he raised concern regarding the conditions of the Government schools in the State.
He stated that improving the education sector is also in the 100 days period of the BJP led Government.
Javadekar further assured that the officials concerned and Ministers have discussed the steps needed to be taken up to improve the conditions of the Government schools in the State.
He also assured that the Central as well as the State Government would take up all possible steps to improve the education sector of Manipur and appealed to the people to fully support the Government in their endeavour.
Javadekar pointed out that the various problems and hurdles faced by the people mostly in remote hill areas like lack of schools and other academic facilities, will be investigated in order to take up the required action.
Praising the new State Government, he said that it has been able to resolve the Churachandpur issue, bring a stop to economic blockades and bandhs and has been tirelessly taking up various developmental works at an unprecedented pace.
He also stated that various Government schools, colleges and institutes will be reviewed in order to find out possible areas of improvement. Chief Minister N Biren Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Y Joykumar, Education Minister Th Radheshyam, Ministers, Parliamentary Secretaries, MLAs and other top officials were also present at the meet.
