N Manoj scores 94.2 pc to become State topper in CBSE Class XII exam 2017

IMPHAL, Jun 1 : Slopeland Public School, Khongjom, has praised its student Nongmaithem Manoj for scoring 94.2 percent in the Class XII exam conducted by CBSE and becoming the State topper.

Nongmaithem Manoj hails from Samaram Awang Leikai of Thoubal district. All 193 students of the school passed the exam with Manoj scoring 94.2 percent and becoming the State topper.

Speaking to media persons at the School conference hall, its Principal Nahakpam Bakulin praised N Manoj for securing top marks in the exam and bringing pride to the school.

He also announced the inclusion of the school among 500 schools selected for NITI Ayog Atal Innovation Mission. He pointed out that Rs 20 lakh have been sanctioned for Slopeland Public School under the mission out of which Rs 10 lakh is for school maintenance and the remaining Rs 10 lakh is for science experiments and laboratory development.

Speaking to media persons, N Manoj stated that he want to credit his mother and his school teacher for his success and expressed his desire to pursue Science stream and become an IAS officer.
