A team of four players and six FIDE trainers today left Imphal to undergo FIDE Trainers Seminar and Chess Coaching camp for both boys and girls.
The camp is organised by All India Chess Federation for development of chess in the North-Eastern States and Andaman and Nicobar islands will begin from December 14 till December 17, 2017 at Guwahati, said a press release by Ad-hoc Committee, Chess Manipur.
The four players which are to participate at the camp are Lanheiba Loitongbam, Jalesh Thouram, Dayanand Thouram and Yumkhaibam Yaisana Devi. While the six FIDE trainers are Y Shabbir Singh, RK Bhogen Singh, Rajkumar Apollosana, Laishram Aremba, N Rajeshwar Singh and RK Bidyalakshmi Devi.
