The project is being undertaten by local community and EMA members of Chingmeirong who live around the once sacred pond /pukhri , with an aim to engage , conserve and promote it as a thriving communal place and become a significant part of the identity of the locality/leikai.This project is part of the concept of EMA‘s Blooming Manipur where it encourages community involvement in taking responsible ownership of the immediate vicinity around one’s home and transform them into beautiful landscape with environmental friendly means and thereby increase the sense of belongingnessRelated links:
