IMPHAL, Oct 2: The chief minister of Manipur today conducted a whirlwind inspection tour of various constructions site being undertaken by concerned authority under the sponsorship of both the central and state government.

The inspection team led by the chief minister included works minister, K Ranjit, YAS minister, N Biren, PDA chairman and other officials of various departments.

The inspection was conducted at Ema keithel, High Court complex, Chingmeirong, Tribal Market, New Lambulane and Cultural Complex cum Convention centre at Palace compound.

While briefing media person after the tour Chief Minister, O Ibobi Singh revealed that the government is targeting to complete the Ema market, Khwairamband and Tribal market located at New Lambulane within this month while the High Court complex within January 11, 2011 and the cultural complex at Palace compound is expected to complete within April or May, 2011.

The chief minister expressed his dissatisfaction over the DDO of the Tribal market for the current work progress and instruct to expedite the work progress at the earliest.

At the same time, the Tribal Market Committee requested the CM to grant additional community hall above the market.
