Rally on Nov 4 to demand education to be made free zone

IMPHAL, Oct 20: The Coordination Committee on Free Education will organize a mass rally on November 4 for making education of the state a free zone.

Addressing a press conference at the office of All Manipur Recognized Private Schools’ Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) located at Keishampat, general secretary of AMRPWA, Kh. Japan stated various organizations of the state including those of students and teachers under the aegis of Coordination Committee on Free Education will organize the mass rally on November 4 with the demand for making education a free zone in the state where there are numerous cases of extortions and disturbances given to many educational institutes.

The general secretary appealed to all sections of the society to render utmost help and support to the committee to make the rally a successful.

The AMRPSWA has also decided to hold common question examination of classes V, VIII and X from the current academic onwards.
