By A Staff Reporter IMPHAL, Jan 23: USA and YWC ended up in 2-2 draw while AIM thrashed MPSC by 3-1 goals in today’s matches of the 5th Manipur State League Football Tournament held at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium. The goals of USA were scored by M. Manglemba and M. Robinson in 30th and 48th minute respectively while Barjohnthanglallwan and K. Kiran made the goals for YWC in 42nd and 75th minute respectively. In the second match between AIM and MPSC, the goals for victorious AIM was scored by L. Gouro (35th and 93rd minutes) and Th. Gouro (79th minute) while Deshkumar made the lone goal for MPSC. Today’s loss deterred the MPSC from gaining the second spot and currently occupied third in the point table. NISA will meet TRAU in the crucial match tomorrow. TRAU will become the champion of the league if it wins the match tomorrow on the other hand NISA must win against TRAU so as to retain the trophy.
