IMPHAL Feb 1: A community centre was inaugurated at Makhel village of Senapati district by Colonel Polash Choudhury, commandant of 5 AR under the military civic action programme.
A PIB (Defence Wing) press release states that the centre materialized on the request by authorities of Makhel village to 59 Mountain Brigade, under the aegis of Red Shield Division. The CO reiterated that security forces are always approachable for any assistance required in developing projects and career counseling of youths. Cultural programs were organized by the villagers with assistance of the 5AR, the release said.
