MPP youth day celebrated

IMPHAL, April 6: The 16th Youth Day of the Manipur Peoples’ Party was observed today at Manipur Dramatic Union (MDU) hall, Keishamthong police lane, Yaiskul.
The youth day was organized by the Naharol Numit Ningsing Thouram Thousil Kanglup, MPP.
A floral tribute was also paid to the memorial of Sengoi Sana at Thoubal, and later the function dignitaries, officials of MPP and other members gathered at the Kakwa community hall and took out rally till MDU hall.
The observation was attended by, O. Joy (MLA) leader legislature wing, MPP as chief guest, Dr. Nimaichand Luwang, president, MPP as functional president and Dr. L. Chandramani, former deputy chief minister, advisor MPP as guest of honour respectively.
Speaking at the function, O.Joy stated that the Manipur Peoples Party has aims and object to bring the youth of today’s generation in a good way for the better future because youth has most important role to be taken in future.
The state youth has been choosing the wrong direction, increasing of using drugs and other harmful activities adding he appealed the youths to put their serious thoughts for the future.
Former chief minister, Jatra who also spoke during the observation revealed that the present situation is more vulnerable to youth for despite having earned degrees and diplomas a large number remain jobless.
He further stated that the governments’ promise for improving the development and job in the year 2020, must be converted into reality.
The SPF government has been governing the state almost ten year till today but no signs of improvement is seen in the entire system of development in the state so far.
