The prizes were sponsored by Sheikh Noorul Hassan, the state convener of Kisan-Khet Mazdoor Congrees M.P.C.C Manipur. Nearly 395 students including students who have passed X and XII in the recent 2011 examination taken by CBSC, HSLCE, HSSLC were felicitated during the programme.
Sports person excelling in sports and students who have cracked the AIEEE entrance exams from all the four Khetrigao A/Cs were also felicitated during the programme.
The function was grace by additional SP of Imphal-East district (law and order) Puspanjali as chief guest and Md. Nazarudin Shah (Rtd. SDC) as president. The function was also attended by many high ranking police officials.
