IMPHAL, August 24: The Naga Women’s Union (NWU) has welcomed the resolution taken by the NSCN-IM, NSCN-Kitovi/Khole and NNC/FGN, to unite and work together for broadening the peace process among the Naga National Worker groups of Nagaland, asserting that it has been a dream and immediate need of the Naga people to stop bloodshed and unite the Nagas.
The NWU president in a statement said “the Naga People, particularly the women of the Naga Society appreciate and applaud the move and bringing positive results in the spirit of love, respect and understanding, forgiving amongst themselves and acknowledging that they felt sorry for having hurt each other and the Naga people as a whole”.
It appeal the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) as weel as the National workers to bring home other groups that are going astray and being hindrance to the peace process.
