IMPHAL, Sept 26: The 33rd raising day of PLA was celebrated widely on September 25 with warm greetings from the president of RPF cum C-in-C of PLA Irengbam Chaoren.
A statement of RPF issued by publicity secretary T Leishemba mentioned that the celebration at the general headquarters began with saluting to the party`s flag. Chief of Army Staff Mm Ngouba delivered encouraging speech to the cadres on freedom movement.
Slogans and party flags were also put up in areas under Bureau-I.
Various sports events and war tactics were also displayed during the raising day celebration.
