IMPHAL, Oct 20: Free medical tests were conducted for veteran journalists of the state today at JN School of Nursing, Porompat, Imphal east.
A release of Manipur Veteran Journalists’ Union stated that the managing director of the institute Dr Brajamani Mangang and his team thoroughly conducted various medical tests for various veteran journalists, namely Naorem Birendrakumar, Manihar Goswami, L Iboyaima, Seram Mangi, Salam Bharatbhusan, N Sarat, N Deben, Sh Yaiphaba, Holendro and K Madhumangol.
The union would also consider the inclusion of working journalists who are above 60 years to get such health benefits, the release added.
