IMPHAL, June 15: The Imphal-Jiribam National Highway (37) has remained cut off since last night due to severe landslide at two places in Tamenglong.
According to reports received from Jiribam, three rock boulders as big as a Tata truck each fell of the hill at Nungdalan, Tamenglong which has totally blocked the highway.
The source informed that the highway could be cleared only by using explosives.
Meanwhile, this evening another landslide occurred at New Kaiphundai.
