IMPHAL, July 3: As the NCP MLA Laishom Ibomcha closed his motion on the MBBS/BDS scam today, the Speaker Th Lokeshore Singh asked the Chief Minister to give his reply on behalf of the Health Minister.
A surprised leader of the House Ibobi Singh reacted that since it is a joint calling attention Dr Ibohalbi should be allowed to place his supplementary motion.
The Speaker undaunted informed the Chief Minister that the rules of conduct allows such a ruling.
But the CM insisted that the Trinamool leader should be allowed to place his motion. Ultimately, the Speaker allowed Dr Ibohalbi.
