IMPHAL, July 16: After the Manipur MBBS/BDS entrance result impasse, another mark related confusion has erupted in the Master of Science examination conducted by Manipur University.

This was revealed by the kangleipak Students’ Association at its office today during a press briefing

According to the spokesperson of the student body, in the recently conducted final examination of MSc in Chemistry, a paper (Inorganic Chemistry-III) was set with 60 marks though it was supposed to be set for 75 marks.

He also announced that the last date of admission for BA/BSc was announced to be July 25 by the university authorities even though exams are not yet finished.

During the interaction, academic and community affairs secretary Bidyananda Sukham strongly condemned the university authority for its negligence.

Meanwhile, university authorities had promptly admitted to the faults when contacted by the student bodies, he added.
