IMPHAL, Aug 6: Manipur Home Minister Gaikhangam has congratulated MC Mary Kom on her victory against Tunisia`s Maroua Rahali in the quarter final bout of 51-kg women’s boxing at the London Olympics, 2012.
Gaikhangam further wished her to bring laurels to the country and state by winning the gold medal.
The Home Minister also announced that the state government would confer the post of Additional SP in Manipur Police to Mary Kom besides lucrative cash incentive prizes.
