Manipur Hockey lauds CM for felicitating Kothajit

Manipur,IMPHAL, August 28: The Manipur Hockey has said in a press statement  has expressed gratitude over the felicitation of Kh Kothajit (Olympian) of 2012 London Olympic by the Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh providing a sum of Rs 20 Lakh at his office chamber today.

It has also continued that a 21 member squad led by N Herojit Singh Secretary Manipur Hockey, N Chandikumar Singh and M Rinash Singh as Manager, Coach and Asstt.coach respectively left Imphal to participate the 2nd Hockey India Jr National Hockey championship to be held at Lucknow from Sept 1 to 9.

Ksh Thoiba Singh (Olympian) president of Manipur Hockey flagged off the team.

It also continued that Ksh Thoiba Singh (Olympian) president Manipur Hockey has been nominated as selector of the 2nd Hockey India Jr National Hockey championship being held at Lucknow. He is leaving Imphal for the venue on August 31, 2012.

It continued that Ch Nepoleon Singh (NIS Hockey) has been deployed as umpire for the aforesaid Tournament and in the meantime M Rinash Singh (NIS Hockey) and Ch Nepoleon will be participating High Tech course of International De Hockey Federation (FIH) to be held during the championship.
